2020 cancellation

Hellensmusic 2020 Cancellation

Dear friends,

It is with deep regret that we announce the cancellation of Hellensmusic Festival 2020. In face of the unprecedented situation created by Covid-19 and in line with Government recommendations, we have had to make this sad decision.

If you have booked tickets in advance, these will be refunded in full – within 7 to 10 working days– from Monday 23 March. Our box office service is overloaded with requests, so we kindly ask that you wait for this refund to be effective and only contact us if this has not arrived after the above-mentioned period.

As many of you will know, these extraordinary times are having a devastating impact on all music professionals, who, along with many independent and self-employed people, have had their engagements cancelled in the months ahead, and face great financial uncertainty. We are paying all our musicians their full fees, minus 10% for a small contribution to our costs, (few organisations are doing this) and would be hugely grateful if you would consider donating you ticket fee(s) to Hellensmusic, to help us support our artists and the festival’s survival. You can do this following this link: One-off Donations Hellensmusic.  Of course we also understand that you yourselves may be in difficulties – tickets refund will be immediate and this is a voluntary option.

Thank you for your continuous support and your understanding. We hope to welcome you next spring, for Hellensmusic 2021 which will take place from 12 to 16 May.

With our very best wishes,

Adam Munthe (Hellensmusic Chair)
Aixa Figini (Hellensmusic General Manager)
